The 2026 Mazda CX-70 Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) is largely considered a carryover model from its debut in 2025, it slots into the Mazda lineup between the CX-50 Hybrid and CX-90 PHEV. Stepping up to the SC Plus trim brings a significant upgrade in luxury and technology, featuring premium leather seats, heated and ventilated front seats, an 8-way power passenger seat, driver memory settings, and a heated steering wheel. All complemented by a 12-speaker Bose sound system, an Active Driving Display (Head-Up Display), and convenient dual 120V power outlets, plus power-folding auto-dimming mirrors, and a spare wheel for added practicality.

The 2026 Mazda CX-70 PHEV prioritizes safety with a comprehensive suite of standard features and enhanced systems on its higher trim. All models come equipped with numerous standard safety systems, including eight airbags, adaptive cruise control, active lane departure, blind spot warning, and driver attention alert. Furthermore, a full array of collision prevention and mitigation technologies are standard, such as forward collision mitigation, rear collision warning, and front pedestrian detection. Opting for the SC Plus trim further bolsters safety with the addition of front and rear parking sensors and rear collision mitigation technology.
